Digital Humanities Track
As technology revolutionizes writing, publishing, archiving and other tasks that have been central to humanities disciplines, there is an increased demand for humanities students to have expertise in digital tools and methods. This track is designed to help students develop digital skills with an emphasis on the humanities.
A focus on Digital Humanities, paired with expertise from a humanities major, will prepare students for careers in a diversity of fields, including digital communication and social media, marketing, digital archival work, publishing, data journalism and other areas. Professionals with DH backgrounds often work in universities, libraries, museums, non-profits and other organizations.
This track pairs well with any major in the humanities and related fields, including English, History, Art History, WGSS, cultural studies programs such as Africana Studies and Asian & Asian-American Studies, and languages programs.
