Starting with Spring 2026 course building (during the Fall of 2025), new reports for prime time and day of week class distribution will replace the former Prime Time and Tuesday/Thursday reports. Requirements for prime time are similar to past requirements, while the Tuesday/Thursday report has been replaced with a day of week hour distribution report with a target range for each day of the week. This includes targets for Fridays. Rules have been developed with a sliding scale based on a department鈥檚 total course section hours. Departments that have fewer hours have no or lower targets than departments with more hours.
Distribution reports are based on the number of course section hours offered by a department for all course sections that meet in person in an on-campus location using data in Banner at the time the reports are run.
