How to Prepare for Individual Appointments
Allow at least 48 hours for document review - the more advance notice you provide, the better prepared we'll be to help you with your dissertation work.
Before your appointment:
- Upload your document as a .docx or other editable file format
- Include dissertation guidelines if applicable (committee requirements, university formatting guidelines, etc.)
- Specify focus areas and current challenges in your submission
Your specialist will review your materials before the meeting so you can focus on addressing your specific dissertation writing needs.
Important Policies
Document Length
- 3,000 word limit per appointment
- Dissertation chapters longer than 3,000 words require multiple appointments
- If submitting a longer chapter or section, specify which pages you want reviewed
Scheduling
- One meeting per week maximum to ensure all students have access to specialist support
- Additional weekly meetings will be canceled
Two unexcused absences maximum - failing to attend two scheduled sessions without prior notice will result in loss of scheduling privileges for the semester
